 Saya nak ceritakan antara inovasi yang saya temui sepanjang posting management..

IV DRIP

Tahukah anda botol IV drip yang kosong itu banyak manfaatnya...

contoh.

Ini adalah botol IV drip(yang dah diguna habis) yg telah dipotong untuk dijadikan receiver ryle's tube aspiration... Ye la, selalunya aspiration itu dibuang di dalam domestic bin..
SEPATUTNYA
-di dalam clinical waste atau
-di dalam gallipot kemudian dibuang ke dalam clinical waste

SPLINT

splint ni penting untuk pesakit yang ada IV line and tengah ada infusion..kadang2 drip/ infusion tak jalan sebab pesakit bengkokkan tangan...pesakit pula confuse atau tak faham 'pak cik, jangan bengkokkan tangan ye.air tak jalan nanti' -_-

jadi, kita boleh gunakan kotak yang dipotong cantik dan diikat di tangan sebegini rupo... insya Allah pak cik tak daya nak bengkokkan tangan dah..

Buku Nota Saya!

Assalamualaikum...

Kali ni nak share tentang buku nota nursing saya..
kalau tengok pensyarah dan kakak2 senior yang dah kerja berbelas tahun tu keluarkan buku nota nursing diorang masa zaman belajar, rasa 'wahhhh, simpan lagi buku tu...' ada sentimental value di situ...walaupun luarannya dah kusam, tapi tu la yang mahal...

Jadi, masa tahun 2 saya buat keputusan untuk  buat juga buku nota saya..untuk fast reference pada hari bekerja nanti dan untuk tunjukkan pada anak-anak murid atau anak-anak sendiri.. :)

                                         Siap lukis vial dan ampule sebab dulu still tak dpt bezakan...

                                       Care of atrial line, IV line, CVL ni baru je belajar tadi.
                                             Hari ni ialah last 3 day in management posting.

                             Bermanfaat untuk nurse yang insert line pada patient.
   Selalunya nurse hospital  kerajaan, HO yang buat..kalau swasta, nurse yang insert..so, take note.





Boleh juga da;am buku nota kecil ni kita letakkan procedure yang penting, perkara yang penting tapi kita susah nak ingat atau confuse. selalunya basic skill seperti drug calculation boleh dimasukkan...

Top 10 student Nursing perlukan..

I just saw a video from you tube title on Top 10 Nursing School must have...Sangatla bagusss... Macam nak balik ke tahun 1 dan tengok video tu sambil berkata 'Owh..ceq nak kena telefon mak nak mintak duit..nak beli banyak buku ni'.... -_-

Ok, for the future nursing student first tanamkan niat nak belajar ye...
Bawa dan peganglah niat itu sehingga anda menghembuskan nafas terakhir...

ok, lets see the list:

1. Stethoscope for auscultate lung, heart and bowel sound
2. Calculator for calculate drugs, IV drip
3. Drug guide(optional) because you may used an application  from your handset..I prefer to have this book because I prefer hard copy..(boleh conteng)
4. Planner-This is important to write your assignment's due!
5. Penlight-You may use for physical examination-check for pupil dilation-usually use when admission patient and during charting GCS
6. Nursing Diagnosis Handbook-Important for you to write nursing intervention to patient.
7. Anatomy and Physiology Book-Sherwood physiology was preferable.selalunya minta pada senior medic.
8. NCLEX book-to test your knowledge and confident level. usually the library will have this..either your looking for it or hide from you.
9. Pen, scissor, marker -use pen that combine red,black and blue...and please labeling your name because you will lost it many times...
10. A cute notebook-use to write your patient details..


That's 10 tops nursing student must have...hope this will help you.. :)

Management in practicum

Assalamualaikum....

Allah is The Greatest...
Alhamdulillah..
This week was my fifth week and next week was my last posting in HUKM...insya Allah...maybe the last day I'm wearing this pink uniform..(before LJM)

I would like to share my experience during my internship posting ....

All tears, tiredness, anger, braveness, laugh, happiness and others emotion are in this five weeks...

Tears are when there was a death(we call it LO).. That is my third experience faced LO but this LO was extremely drop my jaw.. I couldn't do anything after that. I just sit down, crying, laugh, crying back until end of shift.. But fortunately, I can sleep well after that..alhamdulillah..

Vericose vein are there. Yeay, proud to be a hardworking nurse..  breakfast+lunch at 1pm was normal for us... dressing done, medication done, vital sign done, feeding patient done, changing pampers done....then what else??? Yes, feeding own self are not done yet!!

'hah? 8 setengah? ko ingat ni jam pukul berapa ka? ni kalau OSCE, fail ni?'
'maaf kak. 8.5mmH2O' sengih2...

'eh, orang pun'-kak ijai
'saya la..jadual baru nama saya' (kerut dahi)
'eh..orang la'-kak ijai
tengok2...
'ok. silap'-me(sengih2)


 Today during my ADN assingment, 5 admission *pengsan
but with SN syu, everything was my opportunity to learn from him.. I'm not learn how to give orientation to patient, take vital sign, check patient condition, taking patient's weight but I learn the kindness a nurse to patient, worried of non biological person...Allahu rabbi, that makes my day..

'When patient having bed sore, that indicate  poor/ bad nursing care'-I will always remember that...

Let's keep spirit high up!! 'Rabbiyassir wa la tu'assir'
